ITINERARY

The duration of each session is approximately 8 weeks. We will be based in Maya Center and in Hopkins. Travel is planned to:

  • Tobacco Caye and the reef
  • The great ancient Mayan cities of Tikal and Caracol
  • La Routa Maya in Yucatan
  • Tikal and Mayan biosphere in Guatemala
  • The Cayes in Belize

Many students like to extend their stay and their use of the Institute's network beyond the end of the formal session.

Normally, we plan trips to Belize leaving in late January for the winter quarter and again in late April for spring quarter. Our calendar is sensitive to the beginnings of both quarterly and semester schedules in American universities. Join us in our quest! Please contact us for specific dates.
