PROGRAM FEES & FINANCIAL INFORMATION

The Institute for Village Studies has a comprehensive fee.

This includes:

    roundtrip airfare
    transfers and all overland transportation
    daily living expenses (food, lodging)
    admissions (temples, ruins, parks)
    group medical supplies
    academic support
    academic credit

This does not include:
    independent travel
    gifts/souvenirs
    visas/government permits or exits
    shots/personal medicine

For students on financial aid:
Limited financial aid is possible under special circumstances from the Institute, but in general students should consult with the financial aid office of their home campus for assistance if needed.

For students staying in Belize beyond the end of our session: Changing your return ticket date can be done, but the airlines charge a fee (usually $75)

Comprehensive fee:

Payment schedule:
July 10 $500 Non-refundable payment due
Oct. 15 $1500 interim payment due
Nov. 15 remaining balance due

Payment schedule may be adjusted with permission of Institute Director, to accommodate financial aid allocations.
